Here's a short list:
- Trunk of the car
- Back seat of the car
- Passenger seat of the car
- Now that I think of it, any flat surface of the car
- My lap... while I sit on a toilet
- Random benches in the Chinese Restaurants (Lower level bench at Sun Sui Wah Restaurant specifically... you would think with the number of babies that come into their restaurant, they would get some damn change tables)
- "Airborne" changing -> this is when one of us hold the child and the other would change them quickly
Just to name a few, but as you can see, almost any flat surface is fair game. HOWEVER! We do not change diapers on eating tables. You've probably seen those parent who will willingly bust open the poopy diaper in the middle of a restaurant or in the middle of Old Navy ON new clothes like this:
As a parent, we try to be considerate of others around us and we will try and do as minimal public displays as possible. Sometimes it's nearly impossible but regardless we try. For times where we know where the change tables are, you'll see us running to get there (such as in Malls).
Moral of the story? Know you're location and surrounds when you have kids. Also, when you have a kid that's potty-trained, this is also an issue.
OH! N had his first doctor's appointment today. He grew two centimetres since birth and 1/2 a pound since last week. He weights in at a healthy 11 pounds 3 ounces. Our children also spent 3 hours at Metrotown today. See pictures and you'll see how excited both Mom and babies were.
Mom is very excited to be out of the house!
"Don't cry N. Daddy, I'm being a good big sister!"
"Daddy! CHEESE!"
"Mommy! CHEESE" As L took a picture.
N's a gangster... Yo!
