One of Four

So, as you all know, L goes to cefa for pre-school. It seemed like this year, all the parents wanted to have babies again (also, it being the year of the Dragon). As it turns out, there were four moms that had babies and all four ended up having boys. N being the youngest of them all. Personally, I think he'll be the best =)

Today, J left the house again! If we're counting, since house arrest ended, she has been out every day. You should see the smile on her face! It is blinding. Also, N's birth certificate has arrived! Did you know the birth certificates are super nice now? Go see them on the website. Way better than my old paper ones from back 24 years ago. Regardless, in this day and age, we seem to get more and more advanced products and if you heard, our Care Cards will have security features linked to our driver's licenses and will expire every 5 years as well. YAY! Something to look forward to *sarcasm*.

Some thoughts on the first 25 days with N:
1) L is will be a great big sister. Right now, it's still the feeling out process and she doesn't know what to do with him. More and more, J and I are trying to get her involved in N's like. For example, we are asking her to bring the diaper, open the diaper and even place the diaper under N's bum. She is super excited to help and always willing.
2) After L put the elastic in N's mouth and he almost choked... we still haven't found the elastic in his poop. Either he already pooped it out or it's still in there somewhere. We'll have to find out soon enough.
3) Two kids, 2.5 years apart, is tiring but thankfully I have in-laws that are pretty awesome and help us out a lot!
4) It's already been 25 days... holy.
5) Getting sleep whenever we can... is a luxury. Once L is up, the whole house is up and so we'll need to sleep when L sleeps as N can sleep in almost any setting.

It's nice having two kids at home. People say "Oh you're too young to have kids" or "Why?" But for me and for J, our two kids are quite rewarding and when I see them smile or laugh, it's the most heart melting and cherishing moments. All the fatigue I had from work just seems to fade and the world is a lot brighter.

Good night and sleep tight everyone. God knows, we'll be up in 3 hours =P

N while in his seat. Eyes wide open!
