J and C's Little Ones: Oh Hello Sunday

Today... is Sunday. That start of a new week. Well for me, tomorrow is the start of a new week. Sunday is my rest day =) But you know what, having two kids and trying to do fun things with them... it's quite tiring.

Like every Sunday, we got to sleep in a little bit today. Woke up at 10 and then started our day! We headed out to gymnastics then the crazy began! J forgot to back N's diaper bag properly. As a result, we didn't have a few things. It was the beginning of a somewhat crazy day. No towels for N when he feeds means a dirty baby and wet baby too for that matter. While L was doing her thing in gymnastics, N was busy eating. After gymnastics, we headed to Granville Island.

At Granville Island... it was bloody cold! AND RAINING! Gosh, it was cold for both kids. However, L was okay with going because we were going to potentially buy her some costumes for dress-up. We couldn't find any. Also, what's with people on Sundays at Granville Island?! It was packed!!

Afterwards, we headed out to Ebisu Japanese Restaurant for lunch. Food was decent, I wouldn't say it was THAT good but good. Funny story, L recognizes the Canucks Logo and so anywhere we go, she'll say "IT'S THE CANUCKS!!!" in a really, really, really loud voice. So today, we sat down at Ebisu and the Canucks were having their warm-up prior to their game. So naturally, L decides to point this out. Seriously, the whole restaurant (there was maybe about 5 tables) turns and stares. Pretty much look, turn away, say something, then giggle. Oh wells, what are you going to do? I have a daughter who is quite expressive =)

Afterwards, the day started to slowly wind down. It ended with a nice dinner with my dad and brother. At first L was a little hesitant to go near them but eventually warmed-up to them and started to play games with my brother. Funny girl. All the while, N was busy sleeping.

As for 9PM, L is fast asleep (she missed, rather didn't take her nap) and N is about to sleep. For us, we're going to get to bed early. Tomorrow is work day and so gotta start off fresh =)
