Happy Pre-Valentines!

Today was a nice and relaxing day. Pretty much didn't do anything and worked. For J, she spent the day at home and had a relaxing day with N. L went to school and when I dropped her off, she cried =( She hasn't been doing well at drop off the past few days. Probably because at home, she has too much time =P.

A fun activity J did with L today was making Valentine's Day cards. Yes, it's a VERY commercialized pseudo-holiday but I guess having a girl, J is making every Valentine's a little special. I feel bad for future boyfriends/fiancee/husband of L. She's going to expect something EVERY year and she'll be comparing it to what mom or GMa did for her. Poor boys. Today, L made some nice Valentine's Cards. See below.

Cards designed by L.
Funny story!! So kids are quite influenced by whatever they see. Whether it be mom, dad, grandparents, TV, other kids, or anything really. So a few days ago, L starts doing some odd/funny. What? Well, she takes her Minnie Mouse doll and starts to breastfeed it! Yes.... breastfeed it. After 'feeding' Minnie, she burps her and then she says, "Oh, I have to pump the other side." (J pumps breastmilk for storage for later if N doesn't feed both sides). It was terribly funny to see/hear but also gave us a shock. We really need to watch what we do and say around her as she picks up on things so easily. Ha ha, it's quite funny and cute.

Well, bedtime for me! Good night and until tomorrow!
