Happy New Year!

Well it's a little late but we are into 2012!!!

Baby L is not so much of a baby anymore. Ha ha, we measured her today. She's a whopping 86cm tall and ~28-30lbs (depending on what she eats that day, ha ha). In other words, she's a HUGE baby! But that's okay, we still love her.

More and more, she is growing and her vocabulary is improving. It seems like she's learning a new word every day. A small sample of what she knows is: Mommy (in English [E] and Korean [K]), Daddy (E/K), Grandpa/Grandma (K), food (K), more (E), ball (E), orange (E/K), apple (E), etc... Jess and I tried to count how many words she knows and we got to ~25 and couldn't remember anymore but we kept on adding to it. So she knows a fair bit for her age, which is closely approaching 20 months.

Over the holidays, we had a little bit of an excursion. We took a brief 7 day hop over to NYC! But, goodness, it was a hard 7 days. Why? Well when you have a baby that cries on the plane (yes, our daughter is THAT baby) and doesn't want to sit in a stroller, then we have disaster. Jess and I ended up carrying her/walking her most of the time. She would only sit in the stroller for about 20-30 minutes at a time. However, it was a great trip. It wasn't terribly cold, L had fun (she saw lots of stuff in NYC Times Square - she loves lights) and we spent some time as a family of three.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and all the best in the Year of the Dragon! (My year!! =]... okay fine and Jess' year too).

Check this video out! =)
